Cool for All
Free A/C program, brought to you by LA County and CPA
This program is funded by Clean Power Alliance’s Innovation Fund, supporting local electrification projects through the CPA Energized Communities initiative. This project will provide portable heat pump AC units to approximately 300 renter households that lack air conditioning, and who live in CPA-serviced Low-Income and Disadvantaged Communities (LIDACs).
Provide a recent utility bill that verifies that the household is a current customer of the Clean Power Alliance.
Participants should provide the Customer Account number on the electricity bill. Your account number can be found on the top left of your electricity bill and always starts with a “7” (12-digit number that begins with 7XXXX).
To determine if you are a CPA customer, check your most recent electricity bill from Southern California Edison (SCE). If CPA is your electricity provider, you will see charges from them on your bill, labeled as "supply/generation” charges, typically found on the last pages of your bill.
On the CPA website, you can find a sample customer bill. On the top left of the first bill page is the customer account number and on the last page in the top right you can see the large text that says "Clean Power Alliance supplies your electricity."
